About the role
The role
You'll own BIM strategy and delivery for Protec's fire detection, suppression and security work, from design through handover and into operation. A big part of the job is bringing projects in line with the ISO 19650 series and helping the business reach certification.
Key responsibilities
- Lead BIM delivery and write and manage BIM Execution Plans and information management strategies
- Set up and run common data environment processes and information standards
- Coordinate federated models, run clash detection and work with other disciplines
- Build fire and security object libraries, templates and structured asset data for handover
- Train and mentor teams and raise BIM maturity across the business
What you'll bring
- ISO 19650 Practitioner or Lead Practitioner certification
- Experience as a BIM Manager, BIM Lead or Senior BIM Coordinator
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650, the UK BIM Framework and security-minded information management
- Revit, Navisworks and CDE platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Viewpoint or Asite
- Knowledge of COBie, IFC and asset information requirements; fire, security or building services experience is a plus
